Some of the most frequently asked questions from our guests are listed here. You may also want to read our Terms and Conditions. Please contact us for any other questions you may have.

Do I need to be very fit to join one of yours tours?

No, but all our tours will require a little bit of walking. The day-tours are possible to conduct if you are able to walk for 30 minutes in a slow tempo, for example Oslo view and the day tours by canoe. If you aim for one of the tours lasting more than one day you should be able to paddle and/or hike for at least 2 - 3 hours every day. We adjust the tempo after the group, and we do not rush. We promote the slow adventure!

What kind of equipment do I need?

Ordinary hiking clothes and shoes/boots, as well as a sleeping bag for the longer tours. We provide tents, cooking facilities and sleeping pads and everything you need to canoe. If you do not have all the equipment you need then we can provide it for you. Since we need various clothes and equipment for the various tours we recommend that you contact us if you want to know what spesific equipment you need for a spesific tour. In any case we will send you a recommended packing list after your booking.

Can you pick us up at the airport?

Do you arrange tailor made tours?

Can we bring the children?

Yes we can! Subject to availability of vehicles.

Yes we do! We arrange tailor made tours for small groups and individuals in the Oslo forests - Oslomarka - and every now and then also in other parts of the country. Based on your wishes, budget and available time we make a proposal for a tailor made tour. This could be combinations of various activities, such as canoeing and hiking, elk-spotting close to Oslo followed by wild reindeer-spotting in Telemark, or any other combination. The opportunities are endless.

Yes you can! But beware that some of the expeditions can be physically demanding - even more so for mum and/or dad if they have to carry their children during the portages. Obviously, very small children will also need special attention in the canoe and elsewhere. For these reasons we usually recommend that children are at least three years of age before they join our tours, but, if you are happy with bringing also smaller children then we are happy and will do our utmost to make sure they enjoy the tour as much as you.
